Victor Merriman

VICTOR MERRIMAN is Associate Professor of Drama and Theatre Studies at Liverpool Hope University. He is the author of articles and book chapters on postcolonialism and late twentieth-century Irish theatre, and edited a Special Issue of the online journal Kritika Kultura on Radical Theatre and Ireland (Kritika Kultura 14; Kritika Kultura 15 (2010)). He has worked as a director and a dramaturg, was a member of An Chomhairle Ealaion/The Arts Council (1993-1998), and chaired the Council's Review of Theatre in Ireland (1995-1996). He is Director of the Centre for Performance as Cultural Intervention at Liverpool Hope University's Creative Campus.
